An off-road adventure requires the toughest vehicles mankind has had the genius to invent. It is delving into the most testing of environments. And you should want to make sure that your vehicle is at its peak performing condition.
Going off-road on a sub-par vehicle can result in you stranded in a hostile environment. Or it can end up in your vehicle failing in a situation where its proper function means survival. So it is for your own good that proper vehicle maintenance is done before traversing the outdoors.
Before you hit the trail, inspect your vehicle according to this checklist. Check the following parts and make sure your vehicle is ready for the off-road trip.
Check the engine oil
Check the transmission fluid.
Check the brake fluid and the brake lights
Check the radiator coolant
Check the windshield wiper fluid
Check both the steering alignment and fluid level
Check the gear oil
Check the air cleaner
Check each seat belts
Check each fan belts
Check all hoses

Check and tighten all driveshaft U-bolts, lug bolts, and so nuts
